I am attempting to get back to the weekly updates, so here is what is new from this previous week of Kongstruction:
Another aspect that I did not notice last week is the painted scenic background that is behind the backdrop wall. The fact that I did not notice is a testament to how well it already blends in.
The right side of the construction site continues to evolve fast. Two steel I-Beam structures have popped up.
I have to assume that this will be part of the queue and that the doorway in the background of this picture is where it will enter into the interior portion of the attraction.
Another thing I noticed is that the “rockwork” has been extended down the entire right wall of the backdrop wall. It is yet another testament to Nassal as to the fact that I cannot tell if it is painted or physical rockwork. It is also safe to assume that the finger-like structures will not extend past where you see in this photo.
The massive scenic piece in the front continues to see extensive work.
I can only imagine how beautiful of a shot this is going to be in a few months. This attraction will be a spectacle when it is all said and done.
Groundwork is progressing on the left side of the construction site. I said last week that maybe the queue could extend out over here, but with the addition of the steel structures, I do not think that is likely anymore.
Final shot showing off all of the structures and amazing rockwork.
