Well a month just went by in a blink of an eye. Here is the first King Kong construction update of September:
The rockwork continues to progress on the finger-like structures protruding from the backdrop wall.
Here is a bit of an overview of the right side of the construction site.
Here is the show/queue building’s wall I was talking about. I am sure this building will be covered in rockwork, too. That extra dimensional buildout on top will add some texture to the rockwork.
Here is a shot of the front entrance facade. It could just be the angle, but the clearance here looks like it is extremely low. Maybe it steps down a bit and the scaffolding is in the way for a clear view of it.
I am going to say it again, but the textures on all of the rockwork is just unbelievable!
Interesting shot of the groundwork being done at the very front of the attraction. It looks to me that there is work being done below ground level.
It appears as though this will be a main structure that the exterior portion of the ride will turn around before heading into the main building.
I am very happy this weird structure has revealed itself as an awesome looking scenic piece. There seems to be a lot of dead space over on this side of the attraction, could this potentially be part of where the queue goes?
Another angle of this already beautiful attraction.
Final view showing off the far-left side of the construction site.
Sorry again for the delay in this update. Hope everyone has a great Sunday and as always, please support us on social media!
