Another week has gone by, but King Kong continues to rise. Here is your weekly Skull Island: Reign of Kong Construction Update:
Most of the noticeable work that has been done is on the main entrance to what is assumed to be the transition to Skull Island.
Notice anything different? This entry point has been covered in scaffolding since I started doing construction updates, but now it is showing some clean looking rockwork.
This is also a new element from last week. It appears to be the woodwork for a bridge. I wonder if there will be some type of moat that surrounds that imposing backdrop.
Work continues on the trusses immediately to the right of the completed backdrop wall.
Not much to visually see here, but it looks like a lot of the groundwork probably was done since the last update where the ground was torn up.
Still a lot to do in the next few months!
I am sure this is going to be an epic picture when this attraction is all said and done. I think it is safe to assume that the front entrance facade’s rockwork will be painted to match the backdrop’s rockwork.
Blind shot of our weird structure over here. Yet again this week, there is nothing too indicative of what exactly this is going to be.
Here is a final blind shot over the wall.
That is all for your weekly Kongstruction update. As always, thanks for stopping by and for checking out our update.
