King Kong Construction (October 17)

King Kong Construction has continued to progress at an impressive pace, check out this week’s update to see where we think the queue is potentially going to meander:

As of now it looks like it is going to be a large “mountain” of rockwork, but I am sure there will be some great, eye-catching detail work. If you look on the far right of the picture, I personally believe that the standalone column will have a fire feature as you enter the gates of Skull Island.

You can see the very tribal-esque spears protruding from the rockwork. It is amazing how something so simple can set up the environment of the ride to instantly feel more hostile.

I am sure this will be part of the overflow queue that will run from the front entry facade all the way to the left side of the site. Looks like Universal is expecting this ride to be popular!
